Transforming Innovation: turning great technology into great business

On the 6th of February 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between TTIP and Orbis Business School to kickstart their collaboration. TTIP is a company that provides programs related to innovation. From leading innovation and building innovative teams, to culture creation. They build these programs through their history of success in networking forum sessions and the global comprising of innovative leaders, including but not limited to CTOs.

With the risk of disruption around every corner, many companies are lagging in innovation and subsequently struggle to turn ideas into profitable products and services. Both TTIP and Orbis Business School believe that successful innovation is not just a function of R&D, it is a mindset and responsibility of everyone in the organisation. This involves strong leadership and requires building teams that drive the change needed to make it happen.

The collaboration aims to help companies to:

  • Unlock the innovative potential of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Establish a culture of innovation.
  • Develop leaders to drive innovation.

They will do this by providing facilitated programmes to turn new ideas into profitable and sustainable business. The joint programmes that they offer to the market are extremely adaptable to any organisation’s need: the programs can be run either virtually, face-to-face, and “open” or designed for a company’s specific challenges.

Prof Andy Wynn, Managing Director of TTIP said, “We are delighted with our collaboration with Orbis Business School. We both have a strong focus on being the interface between innovation, people and business success. Our unrivalled foundation in science, technology and engineering companies, makes us well positioned to enable innovative companies to scale and grow.”

Dennis Akkerman MBA, Managing Director of Orbis Business School commented, “We are excited to work together with TTIP who share the same values and are a great partner for driving sustainable transformation. TTIP has a strong brand presence and client base in the West, with good links to Asia, whereas we have a strong brand presence and client base in Asia with good links to the West.”
