Why would we treat our planet and people any different from how we treat our house and family? As leaders, why would we treat our business, our customers, employees and other stakeholders any different from how we treat our house and family?
It all starts with ourselves. Sustainability is a mindset shift that affects the entire organisation, starting with all of us as leaders. And we are all leaders in our own roles.

We’ve identified 4 levels of sustainability maturity :
Level 1. “Not Necessary”
When your mindset is that Sustainability is Not necessary, you will obviously continue being a Non-sustainable organisation.
Level 2. “We Have To”
When your mindset is ‘We have to become sustainable’ because you are required to be, you will become a follower or in the worst case a ‘green washer’.
Level 3. “We Will”
When your mindset is ‘We will become sustainable’ you are committed to it as an organisation;
Level 4. “We Believe In A Better World”
True competitive advantage is achieved for those at the top level – ‘We believe in a better world’ – these leaders are the true visionaries and create a better future for all stakeholders.
